Come learn about California’s deep sea corals and sponges and the efforts to protect them. By better understanding deep sea coral and sponge communities and where they occur, management decisions and planning can be made with regards to their protection. Join visiting NOAA Nancy Foster scholar Nissa Kreidler for a discussion on how computer modeling may help save these important species in the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary.
