Event Details

Heralded as “The Hawaiian Grateful Dead” by one of the band’s original members, Kanekoa has been playing together for 20 years, seamlessly melding the sounds of traditional Hawaiian music with rock, folk, blues, and reggae elements.

The Shops at Wailea welcomes Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award-winning Hawaiian reggae folk rock band Kanekoa to Concerts at The Shops with a performance on Wednesday, May 29 from 5:30-7pm.

Concerts at The Shops is a free, monthly concert series that is open to the public and features headlining musicians from across the Hawaiian Islands. This community event occurs on the third and fifth Wednesday of every month at the main Fountain Courtyard.

These events are designed to enrich the community through exploration and discovery in the arts and music, while supporting local businesses and non-profit partners. The four-hour special event parking voucher is available for $5 dollars and proceeds will go to Hospice Maui.
