Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at 6:30 PM – 8 PM
The Ha’iku Community Association (HCA) will host a meeting, Wednesday November 6, 2019 at the Ha’iku Community Center. The meeting will run from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.

The meeting will focus on what progress has been made important toward Ha’iku projects and will include a panel discussion on research being done on alternative management/ownership of the EMI ditch system and its role in the Upcountry water system.

Guest speakers include Ha’iku-Pa’ia-Makawao District Councilmember Mike Molina and Metropolitan Planning Organization (Transportation Coordination) Lauren Armstrong. A panel discussion on “Future Options for Management and ownership of the East Maui Water delivery system” will feature Shay Chan- Hodges and Norman Franco as well as other invited panelists.

There will also be updates from the Hamakualoa Aha Moku Council. The audience will be able to ask questions of presenters.

Potluck pupu are welcome and all that attend are asked to bring non-perishable food donations for the Maui Food Bank. For more about HCA activities go to haikumaui.org.
